We thought we might lose our elderly cat last week (long story), but we still have her. She can’t go on forever, though, as she’s 17. We just don’t want to think about being without her. Please tweet or something (or update this post) when you get into the vet. Maybe they just need to run more tests. Prayers to you both.

I know how you feel. When Lucy gets sick, the world stops. She is my life. I’m greeted with the same unconditional love, etc that you have. When reading this, it sounded like you were explaining my life. I wouldn’t know what to do with my Lucy. My prayers are with you and Sissy. I will hold her deep in my prayers and my heart for a healthy recovery as soon as possible. Bit of advice – check into Banfield Vet Hospital @ Petsmart. I have a vet plan through them that costs me $18.95 a month and last year alone, I saved $3000.00 on vet bills. It is so worth the couple dollars a month to know that your baby is getting the best care possible and there is always, always a vet available. Something to think about. Keep us posted where Sissy is concerned. Lucy & I send our love. xxxooo

I cried reading this. I really am a dog person. We were all very depressed when our Nessie passed away. Harley didn’t know what to do without the bossy one around. She always ate what she wanted out of his food bowl as well as hers so he only got what was left. When he saw his food bowl for the first time afterward he acted surprised to see all that other stuff in it! He stayed under the table for weeks. We all wanted our own table to stay under. I do hope that the meds work for Sissy. My prayers are with you, Sissy and Dave. Please let me know how she is.
