Money-money-money is exactly why I wait to do my shopping at the last minute. I will spend until the end if I start early. But I do love christmas music I could listen to it all year round.

I am like you – don’t know what the rush is for Christmas stuff except to make money. I guess we won’t have to worry about it next year as Obama will have either abolished it or since most of our money will be given to those who don’t want to work, so we all have the same amount, then we won’t be able to afford any presents.

So this should not be the place where I admit that I’ve been working on my Christmas ornament gifts for quite a while? I haven’t really done much else, which is unusual for me. (I’m the girl who would hide in her bedroom and listen to Christmas music in July) If I wait until after Thanksgiving to start my handmade gifts I wouldn’t get them done until February! But yes, things do seem to start awfully early.

It does seem people are rushing it a bit this year. A local town had their Christmas street decorations up last week, I heard Christmas songs on the radio this morning, Christmas shows on TV (I think one came on the week after Halloween), etc. It kills the Christmas spirit when it’s so early. Besides, it’s 60 degrees and sunny here today. Who’s thinking Christmas anyway?

Yes you said it Right.. Christmas is coming faster every year.. I know it is for 2009.. Today here in the park I live, people where putting up Christmas lights… The local shore radio station WKRZ 100.1FM has been playing CHRISTMAS songs since Nov.7th.. Whats with that?? I agree lets slow down the rush on Christmas. Enjoy the Spirit it is meant to be..
